Silent Discos are always a novelty - but this one's going to be a competition. Come and listen to two of Oxbridge's finest DJs playing the best tunes they possibliy can whilst battling it out for a massive cash prize. And if you dare - even enter yourself to win the chance to be one of them!

For Varsity Trip 2011, we are bringing back the silent disco. A huge hit on past trips, this year we will be taking it to a new level. As part of the 'Battle of the Blues' we will be setting up two channels playing simultaneously. Performing on one channel will be none other than the top Oxford University student DJ. And - thats right - on the other channel you will find the one and only top Cambridge University student DJ. These two lucky souls will be battling it out to win a cash prize of £400! Get ready to see some of the biggest up-and-coming talent in music blaring out tunes like never before. Newly inspired mash-ups and fresh remixes will ring in your ears while you dance the night away reveling in the incredible atmosphere. The silent disco will take place on Tuesday night in Malaysia, so you will have plenty of time to recover before the Final Night Event.

So who exactly are these talented and lucky DJs? Well, it COULD BE YOU. We will be listening out all term to find the best talent around. If you fancy yourself as the next Calvin Harris or soon-to-be Swedish House Mafia then all you need to do is send a CD with up to 10minutes of your sample music on it to: Varsity Trip, 41 Juxon Street, Oxford. Please include your full name and college and a CV with any relevant DJ experience you have.
