Live Night

This year, Varsity Trip will be hosting Live Night. A festival-style array of venues, all hosting different live acts, will be set up along one street of the resort. From the live band fans to the tribute act fanatics, and the comedy connoisseurs to the dance-crazed divas, there will be something in store to suit everyone’s taste. And don’t worry folks – it's all on the house.

For the first time ever Varsity Trip will be bringing you our own festival-esque evening of diverse entertainment. Head to the centre of Val Thorens for a veritable feast of amusement, spectacle and revelry. We’re extremely proud of the line-up we’ve arranged for you as we have taken over an entire street of bars to play host to a huge variety of creative acts. Make sure you head up to town by 8pm to avoid missing what promises to be a brilliant night of live entertainment:

Live Band Venue

The up-and-coming-band ‘Bring Your Sisters’ will be performing on Varsity Trip for the evening at our live band venue. With a reputation for exceptional live performances they are sure to get the crowd going. Get excited, get limbered up and get ready to bop along to some Alpine acoustic beats.

Tribute Act Venue

After the success of Truly Medley Deeply last year we bring you the legendary tribute talent of ‘Mullit’. The in-demand band are renowned for their crowd-pleasing performances and are fitting a stint on Varsity Trip into their busy schedule. They’ll be bashing out some of your favorite tunes as the evening goes on so make sure you’re there to catch their performance.

Comedy Venue

Varsity Trip are bringing you none other than the Oxford Imps. The height of Oxbridge comedy talent; The Imps have a reputation throughout and beyond University life. Having toured the USA, the Netherlands and Bosnia as well as performing at festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe they are the ultimate up-and-coming comedy talent. Fresh from their weekly term-time performances they will be performing live for you completely free of charge. This group will have you in stitches before the night is out.

Dance Venue

And for those of you who prefer the sound of decks to smashing drums and a couple of guitars we will be bringing you a top DJ. Known for his all night beats you will be sure to dance till the sun comes up soaking up the alpine dance-party atmosphere.
